The Role – Senior Database Applications Engineer
As a Senior Database Applications Engineer reporting to the Application Services Manager, you will enhance and optimise the database and data capabilities across the Medical, Dental, and Corporate Business Units within ForHealth Group. Your technical expertise will be pivotal in managing integrations between various SaaS applications and our cloud-native Azure platforms, building and maintaining robust data architectures, delivering actionable analytics, contributing to data governance, and ensuring seamless data flow across systems. Additionally, you will implement automation to streamline database management tasks and processes between our medical applications, provide leadership and mentorship to team members, drive strategic initiatives, and lead complex projects to advance our data management practices and infrastructure, ensuring high system availability and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:1. Database Management and Optimisation:

  • Monitor, tune, and optimise database performance while maintaining security protocols and data integrity. Test and maintain backup and recovery plans to ensure business continuity of the medical applications which underpin our business.
