About the Role

• Provide high quality dental assisting services for all eligible patients as part of a team led by a dental specialist, dentist, oral health, or dental therapist.
• Lead and manage staff by fostering and committing to patient safety and quality in the delivery of health care by maintaining and evaluating safety and quality practices and initiatives.
• Participate in the development of procedures and initiatives, including quality and service improvement activities to continually improve patient care, best practice, and total quality care for the District.
• Assist in the management and operations of the facility/area through effective planning, organisation, monitoring and evaluation of the activities of dental assistants.
