Description:
YOUR MISSION
As Senior Design Engineer Fluid System you will be responsible for the design, draft and analysis of (sub-)systems of the on-board fluid system of the Spectrum rocket.
More specifically, you will:
- Take ownership to set up, run and modify simulations to model these systems
- Have a good understanding of all subsystems to ensure the proper interaction between all systems
- Plan development cycles of vehicle subsystems and components from a conceptual design until TRL8
- Define detailed requirements for fluid system components
- Review and provide critical feedback to the CAD-Team in the implementation of designs
- Support in the definition of future system architectures of the on-board fluid system
- Write technical documentation and conduct (sub)system design review
- Improve/create processes to streamline workflows where necessary
- Travel to test sites to support system-level testing efforts on-site
