Summary: At SAP Signavio we are expanding our product development team in Dublin. In this role, you will work with a high energy team delivering technical excellence designing and developing a scalable SaaS solution on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). You’ll also work together with product management, designers, and QA to ensure product success.

THE ROLE:

• Lead the development and implementation of complex features and functionality.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance optimization.
• You own your code, test driving development approach.
• Quality is everything. Write unit tests, Integration test and E2E tests.
• Work together with design, frontend engineers and product management to deliver new and improve existing features.
• Provides feedback into Product Architecture for continuous improvement.
• Participate in Agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
• Continuously enhance the software development process, promoting efficiency, quality, and innovation.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, providing technical leadership and fostering a collaborative environment.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILTY:

• 4 to 10 years’ experience working in Java development (Spring, Spring Boot)
• Strong knowledge of software development best practices, including code reviews, testing methodologies, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Proven track record of designing and developing scalable, highly available, and secure software solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug complex issues and provide effective solutions.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Track record in Java development in an engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of agile software development processes
• Aware of the fast-changing IT landscape and confident to suggest new innovative ways to achieve product features.
  SAP operates a hybrid working model of 3 days per week in the SAP office.
