We are currently seeking a Senior Developer* Natural Utilities to join our Natural Engineering team and who will work with us to create innovative solutions for current and future Natural products.

Essential functions

• Technical implementation of innovative solutions with Natural on z/OS, Linux and Windows.
• Takeover of existing software components as part of “generational change”.
• Support throughout the entire product life cycle, from requirements analysis to testing.
• Continuous knowledge transfer and knowledge building within our teams.
• Working in a software development process according to lean and agile principles.
• You work independently and self-organized on the implementation of new product features.
• You process internal and external customer inquiries.

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science or comparable degree and several years of experience in the development of system software.
• Very good programming skills in Natural, knowledge of Adabas an advantage.
• Ability to work abstractly with system software in the Natural programming environment.
• Interest in NaturalONE as a development environment and in source control systems such as GIT.
• Knowledge of z/OS with TP monitors and JCL, Linux and Windows as a user is an advantage.
• Passion for elegant, testable and maintainable code as well as openness to new technologies and methods.
• Very good written and spoken English, knowledge of German is an advantage.
• Interest in working in international, distributed teams.
