Your Opportunity as the Senior Developer, IS Supply Chain
You will actively participate in the planning, design, development and support activities related to systems and integrations. This technical hands-on position requires proven development skills, active team participation, excellent communication skills, problem solving ability, critical thinking, a commitment to quality deliverables and teamwork with other developers. This role will be focused primarily on developing and supporting scalable solutions to integrate a variety of internal on-premise Supply Chain applications, as well as allowing us to better communicate with our external cloud vendors.
Location: Orrville, OH (Close proximity to Cleveland/Akron area)
Work Arrangements: Hybrid ~30% in office expectations
In this role you will:

Application Delivery:

• Manage the technical delivery of small to medium size projects and enhancements
• Individual contributor for development tasks on large projects
• Publish technical specifications and support documentation
• Follow documented standards for development, code promotion, and change management
• Learn and apply new technology to solve Supply Chain business problems

Application Support:

• Provide troubleshooting and resolutions for software issues
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support new or revised business processes
• Suggest and implement continuous improvements to reduce ongoing support demand

What we are looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or related work experience
• 3+ years of work experience as a developer
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large datasets
• Foundational experience in relational database and database technology
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills with ability to adapt to changing requirements
• Passion for building relationships and collaborating with teammates to drive the best possible outcomes for stakeholders
• Ability to learn quickly and apply new technical skill sets
• Effective communication skills with an ability to facilitate inclusive conversations

Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role (not required):

• Prior experience with Supply Chain systems and business processes
• Prior experience with batch and real-time integrations fundamentals and procedures
• Demonstrated experience with Amazon AWS, MS Azure, Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle PL/SQL, Microsoft T-SQL, EDI and/or Unix scripting
