The Commercial Technology team at Uniper is the primary hub for Digital & Algo-Trading tools and support. We specialize in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality tools tailored to specific trading requirements. • Design, build and maintain our state-of-the-art cloud-based infrastructure, algo-trading, analytics, and dev platforms
• Collaborate closely with our development and trading teams to ensure seamless integration of our platforms with various trading tools and services
• Implementing best practices in CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code, and other DevOps techniques to ensure scalability
• Create reusable and configurable templates and boilerplates to facilitate fast onboarding of new and maintenance of the existing projects
• Continuously improve the overall software development lifecycle by identifying and closing gaps or inefficiencies in dev workflows, increasing the overall level of automation, and enhancing developer experience
• Drive the adoption of best practices in code readability, testability, maintainability, scalability, and security
• Architect, deploy and scale logging/monitoring infrastructure to improve observability of systems and services
• Define and implement best practices to make our systems and services measurable
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues while working closely with cross-functional teams
• Lead trainings and discussions to evangelize DevOps frameworks and best practices within trading organization and beyond
• Collaborate with other initiatives and areas within Uniper with respect to DevOps, MLOps, DataOps, IaaC, GitOp
