This is a remote position.
Berkeley seeks a Senior DevOps engineer with 3-4 years of experience (Development and Operations) to join our growing organization

You must be willing to work in EST time Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate the provisioning, deployment, and management of AWS environments for development, staging, QA, and production.
  • Optimize infrastructure for scalability and cost-efficiency.
  • Streamline processes through the automation of repetitive tasks and workflows.
  • Establish and maintain robust monitoring systems to ensure application and system health.
  • Enforce security best practices and compliance standards for software and infrastructure.

REQUIREMENTS

Main Requirements and Qualifications (Apply only if you meet the criteria Below)

  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Automation and Infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as: Ansible, Terraform, and ArgoCD - MUST
  • Experience with Docker containers & Kubernetes (K8) EKS, HelmChart - MUST
  • Experience working with AWS cloud services - MUST
  • Incident response and management in on-call rotation, Hands-on experience resolving production problems.
  • Design CI/CD pipelines Jenkins or any similar - MUST
  • Excellent scripting skills (Python, Bash) - MUST
  • Observability tools such as: logging, metrics, and tracing)
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Fluent English (both spoken and written)
