As we continue to expand our team, we are seeking a talented and passionate DevOps lead.
The candidate will be responsible for the efficiency of the engineering team:
- Continues improvement of our production monitoring suite
- Drive improvements towards an incident-free Continue Deployment pipeline
- Identify and automate repetitive manual tasks
- Ensure cloud resources are available and secured
Participate in daily engineering related activitiesInternal evangelist for DevOps practices
- Participate in the tooling for DevOps and Infrastructure automation
- Utilize your expertise to design and deploy automation tools for streamlining various processes.
- Implement monitoring solutions, ensuring comprehensive coverage for deployment, configuration, and service discovery.
- Drive improvements and design a monitoring stack and metric collection mechanisms.
- Enhance and optimize the existing CI/CD pipeline to facilitate efficient and reliable software delivery.
- Provide operational support, troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Lead efforts in investigating and resolving issues on live production systems independently.
- Take on a leadership role within the team, fostering collaboration and guiding team members.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Min 5 years of experience developing cloud-based software using DevOps practices
- Hands on experience using configuration as code for infrastructure components
- Familiar with Platform Engineering and GitOps practices
- Experience with GCP, K8S, ArgoCD, Grafana and Docker
- Experience with automation scripting languages like Bash and Python
- Good knowledge of software development languages like Kotlin and Golang
- Great at working in a team and have excellent collaboration and communication skills
Bonus if candidate is familiar with:
- Terraform
- Jsonnet
- Victoriametrics
- Istio / Envoy
- Gitlab CI/CD
