The Azure Platform Security and Confidentiality team is responsible for Firmware development of server, silicon and rack infrastructure design with a focus on innovation in security technology to secure Azure infrastructure for Microsoft and their customers.
Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., project manager, technical lead) to determine user requirements for a scenario. Leverages a variety of feedback channels to incorporate insights into future designs or solution fixes. Ensures appropriate continuous feedback loops measuring customer value, usage patterns, and other actionable metrics of value are incorporated.
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior DevOps Engineer with a background in Dev OPS and exposure to HW testing. You will have proficient Python programing skills, CI/CD enablement in Azure through yaml , Agent Pools, Service Connections, PAT management, Azure Rest API,Azure CLI,Azure key vaults, core identity, etc

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, Python programming skills
  • OR equivalent experience
  • Experience with debugging capabilities and demonstrated experience to resolve issues spanning multiple subsystems
  • Experience with CI/CD enablement in Azure through yaml
  • Experience with Agent Pools, Service Connections, PAT management, Azure Rest API and Azure CLI

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
  • This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

  • Azure classic -> app registration, key vaults, core identity, etc.
  • The candidate should have defensive coding skills, debugging and troubleshooting abilities
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals - Certifications

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.

Responsibilities:

  • At the design phase, you will be part of a team- driving the architecture, design and development of the Dev Ops / Automation / Pipeline designs and Branching strategy
  • Conceptualize, scale and build Python Robot Framework library for HW devices
