• Oversee the maintenance and optimisation of AWS infrastructure to ensure system stability, reliability, and security.
• Implement and manage automation with Terraform and Ansible to streamline maintenance and deployment processes
• Handle container orchestration using Amazon ECS and EKS, optimising performance and scalability
• Direct all aspects of IT security across the cloud platforms
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab to support continuous integration and deployment with high efficiency and reliability
• Utilise APM tools such as New Relic and AWS CloudWatch to monitor applications and infrastructure performance continuously
• Employ Sentry to track and address application errors and performance issues, ensuring optimal user experience
• Perform regular updates, security patches, and configurations on Windows and Linux servers
• Conduct audits and optimisations of PostgreSQL databases to enhance performance and security
• Develop and update documentation on system procedures, maintenance, and security protocols
