DevOps & Python Engineers are an integral part of the Data Platforms team, which supports strategic data and analytics platforms that ingest data from a wide range of internal and external data sources in real-time and batch, apply complex business transformation rules and create consumption optimised polyglot data assets for strategic and operational use cases.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO

• Be part of a highly expert team with strong domain knowledge in software engineering and DevOps.
• Manage and support thousands of repositories, build and release pipelines on Jenkins and Azure DevOps for data platforms solutions.
• Design, develop, and deliver on GitHub Enterprise as we move our DevOps capabilities to the cloud.
• Develop and maintain an ecosystem of platform and developer tools used by thousands of Engineers.
• Provide thought leadership with regards to Software Engineering and DevOps patterns and practices and methods of continued adoption.
• Develop and maintain Software Engineering and DevOps best practices, standards, and patterns relied upon by hundreds of engineering squads.
• Apply Agile development to DevOps solutions and tooling that lower the total cost of ownership through re-usable assets.
• Design and implement monitoring and alerting to detect and heal issues within applications and platforms.
