• Expertise in parenteral nutrition – including customised and standard bags

• Full, clean NZ Drivers’ License

• An understanding of bicultural issues and commitment to Te Tiriti O Waitangi
• Ability to work collaboratively with a range of professional groups in a multidisciplinary setting

We have a Senior Dietitian opportunity available for experienced New Zealand Registered Dietitian to join our dynamic and supportive Surgical team within the Nutrition and Dietetics Service based at Auckland City Hospital. This role is part of the inpatient Dietitian team and would see you working permanent, full-time (40 hours /week) Monday to Friday, with roster weekends. This role will primarily be based across our surgical and critical care units where you will be:

• Work across the critical care and surgical teams
• involved in reviewing and evolving the models of care within our services
• supported to enhance your skills and knowledge in the comprehensive management of complex inpatients
• supported to lead clinical education and quality improvement initiatives
• working in partnership with an individual and their whānau to provide client / family / whānau centered care
• Optimize patient experience by utilizing your excellent clinical and interpersonal communication skills
• supported to proactively work with a complex caseload delivering high quality outcome focused innovative care, applying evidence based practice, interventions and education
• collaborating with team members and other work groups to achieve our service objectives
