This role is exclusive to Filipino citizens only. We are looking for an experienced Senior Digital Mobile Wallet Developer who has expertise in both the iOS and Android platforms to lead our client’s mobile wallet development initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6+ years of experience in developing digital wallet applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
• A portfolio showcasing successful mobile wallet projects and contributions to open-source projects is desirable.
• Expertise in iOS development using Swift or Objective-C, and Android development using Kotlin or Java. Experience with cross-platform development frameworks like React Native or Flutter is a plus.
• Strong understanding of mobile security principles and best practices, including encryption, secure authentication methods and data protection.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira or Trello.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining secure and user-friendly digital wallet applications.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to the advancement of our client’s digital payment solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Mobile Wallet Development: Lead the end-to-end development process of digital wallet applications for both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
• Architecture Design: Create scalable and modular structures for mobile wallet applications by working with cross-functional teams made up of product managers, designers, and backend engineers.
• iOS and Android Development: Develop and implement features and functionalities for mobile wallet applications on both iOS (using Swift or Objective-C) and Android (using Kotlin or Java) platforms.
• Security and Compliance: To guarantee the security and privacy of users’ financial data, put in place strong security measures and follow industry best practices. Assure adherence to pertinent laws, including GDPR and PCI-DSS.
• User Experience Optimization: Focusing on usability and accessibility, collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to develop intuitive and smooth user experiences within the mobile wallet applications.
• Performance Optimization: To improve speed and responsiveness, locate and fix performance bottlenecks in mobile wallet apps. You can also apply caching algorithms and optimize code.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of mobile wallet applications, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, to ensure high quality and reliability.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document technical specifications, architectural designs, and codebase documentation. Share knowledge and best practices with team members to foster continuous learning and improvement.‍
