The Specialist Devices Team operate as part of Digital Workspaces and have responsibility for macOS and the physical and virtual environments/solutions for our 3,000 Engineering users, and 8,500 customer computers.
JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Senior Digital Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of large-scale complex digital changes.
Ensuring project controls are in place, managing plans, risks, issues, and dependencies to effective resolution.
While managing appropriate governance and reporting to Digital Directors, communicating, and resolving complex issues while influencing board-level decisions.
You’ll navigate a varied stakeholder environment, setting the pace for delivery and working with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure successful outcomes.
Manage team dynamics, coaching teams to improve flow, quality, and ownership, addressing conflicts, and fostering a positive team culture.
Take responsibility for your own learning and development in project management practices, digital frameworks, and technologies in an agile environment, while also coaching and mentoring your team and the wider delivery community to establish standards for processes and tools.
We need a Digital Project Manager to lead the team and contribute to the following portfolio:
- Improvements to the Engineering Platform supporting 3,000 users developing solutions for DWP.
- Solutions to separate access between production and non-production environments for specific users.
- Assessment and delivery of a new solution for the 8,500 Customer Computers, based nationwide in all Jobcentres.
