Description:
A career as a Senior Director of the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) at National Bank of Canada involves establishing, leading, and managing our AWS CCoE, defining strategy, governance, and best practices for AWS service utilization within the organization.
Thanks to your strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud architecture, you collaborate closely with various teams to ensure adoption and optimization of AWS solutions while ensuring compliance and security.
Responsibilities:
Setting up the CCoE:
- Define the vision, mission, and objectives of the AWS CCoE.
- Establish processes, standards, and best practices for AWS service usage.
- Build and lead a multidisciplinary team of AWS specialists.
Management and Governance:
- Develop and oversee governance policies for AWS service usage.
- Manage the budget and costs associated with AWS services, optimizing resource utilization.
Support and Adoption:
- Promote the adoption of AWS services within the organization.
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams using AWS.
- Facilitate knowledge and experience sharing across teams.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Monitor market trends and technological innovations related to AWS.
- Identify opportunities for improving and modernizing existing systems.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate new AWS technologies and solutions.
Stakeholder Relations:
- Work closely with executive teams to align AWS initiatives with business objectives.
- Manage relationships with AWS vendors and partners.
- Represent the CCoE in strategic and operational meetings.
