In the capacity of Senior Director, Content & Creative, your responsibilities entail overseeing the creative production function supporting various teams within our company, including Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success. Your role involves leading a team of subject matter experts dedicated to enhancing the Keap brand, crafting campaigns and lead generation materials, and effectively communicating announcements and updates to partners and customers. Your approach will be data-driven and informed by SEO strategies, reflecting your proven experience in nurturing programs within a SaaS environment, scaling content initiatives across multiple outbound channels, and exhibiting exceptional leadership in team management. Collaboration will be integral as you work closely with a diverse team comprising content creators, copywriters, developers, marketers, growth hackers, multimedia specialists, and designers. This position reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Mastery of content strategy and best practices in content marketing

  • Strategic thinker, able to help shape our content needs to achieve organizational goals

  • Strong people management skills and ability to level up our content creators
  • Strong project management skills
  • Highly organized, proactive, self-motivated and adaptable

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 10+ years Marketing experience and/or agency experience, including professional management and content generation experience (SaaS experience highly preferred)

  • College Degree in Communications, English, Marketing, or Journalism

Responsibilities:

  • Quarterly, weekly and daily prioritization of projects, ensuring that necessary teams are involved in the review/approval process

  • Project management of large-scale website projects (i.e., navigation updates, brand refresh updates across the site, homepage redesign)

  • Manage the content creation team, including writers, designers and video producers.
  • Support our organic SEO initiatives
  • Coordinate and deliver content projects for various teams and orgs, and throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Leadership of special Marketing Team projects (i.e: Blogathon, creative sprints, Marketing Team retreats)
  • People leadership of our Design, Video, Events, Copy and Content Teams
  • Development of workflow and project visibility improvements (i.e. interfaces and automations in Airtable) to streamline the team’s work
  • Vendor and cost management, including evaluation of tools and implementing cost savings measures (i.e. making staff/operational recommendations when needed)
  • Fostering cross-team collaboration through consistent meetings (i.e. Growth & Content Team meetings, Marketing All-Hands meetings)
  • Working with project drivers to scope their projects
  • Operate as a player/coach, also delivering high-quality content projects as needed
  • Collaboration with other marketing leaders to set the strategy
