Communications are our very reason for being as we inspire people to achieve great things together through our category leading communications platform. And we are also continuously investing in our own communication capabilities: We are looking for an inspiring and experienced Corporate Communications Expert to lead a newly-created Communications function and create and execute an integrated, strategic, global external and internal communications strategy.
The Senior Director Corporate Communications will report to the Chief Marketing Officer ("CMO") and collaborate closely with the CEO, CFO and Chief People Officer and the Go-To-Market team. Inheriting a team of three, managing all external PR and Communications agencies will also be an important pillar of the portfolio. Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead the global Communications team, hiring, mentoring and retaining top talent and leading and inspiring them to deliver outstanding results
  • Lead the development, implementation and measurement of Staffbase’s global Corporate Communications strategy, including corporate communications, PR and employee communications
  • Increase awareness of Staffbase and build its brand reputation among target groups (chiefly Chief Communications Officers, Chief HR/People Officers, CIOs and, potentially also, Chief Marketing Officers) and key audiences, including the trade and financial press
  • Brief, coach and support our C-level executives on press and media engagements, especially the CEO
  • Speak at major Communications conferences, forums and publish relevant thought leadership pieces and blog posts
  • Manage Staffbase’s reputation across PR, external affairs and corporate social media
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing colleagues to support world-class go-to-market strategies
  • Play a key role in driving Staffbase’s culture and facilitating organizational change
  • Curate, execute and measure impact of strategic internal communications campaigns that build strong awareness and connection to Staffbase vision, mission and strategy
  • Lead, develop and grow a team of currently three (external communications and internal communications)
  • Managing all external PR and Communications agencies, ensuring they are aligned as an extension of your Team and our brand
  • Evaluate the success of Communications activities and channels, measuring and interpreting Communications data, optimizing strategies and reporting results to the Executive Leadership Team
  • Prepare and lead the delivery of the company’s IPO communications strategy, working closely with the CEO, CFO and other senior stakeholders
  • Lead the development and execution of crisis management and post-crisis recovery strategies
