JOB LOCATION: Remote
TRAVEL: Less than 10%

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

As the Senior Director of Cyber Security, you will be a key leader responsible for shaping and executing our organization’s cybersecurity strategy. This strategic role requires a seasoned cybersecurity professional with a deep understanding of security principles and a focus on leading red team initiatives. You will lead a dynamic team, driving the development and implementation of robust cybersecurity measures to protect our digital assets against evolving threats.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE):

Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience (8+ years) in cybersecurity management, with a focus on leading red team operations.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or OSCP are highly desirable.

Strategic Leadership
Develop and communicate a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives.
Collaborate with executive leadership to integrate cybersecurity measures into overall risk management and business continuity plans.
Stay abreast of emerging cyber threats and technology trends to proactively adapt security strategies.
Team Management
Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Provide guidance and oversight to cybersecurity staff, ensuring the effective execution of security programs.
Red Team Operations
Design, plan, and execute red team exercises to simulate real-world cyber-attacks and identify vulnerabilities in our systems.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop effective mitigation strategies based on red team findings.
Provide regular reports and briefings to executive leadership on red team activities and security posture.
Incident Response
Develop and maintain an incident response plan, ensuring the organization is well-prepared to respond to and recover from cybersecurity incidents.
Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to minimize the impact of security incidents.
Security Architecture
Oversee the design and implementation of robust security architectures, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical systems and data.
Evaluate and recommend security technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance the organization’s security posture.
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards.
Work closely with legal and compliance teams to address any cybersecurity-related regulatory requirements.
