About the Role
The Senior Director, Family Office & Middle East sits within Institutional Investor’s EMEA Investor Relations team, and the candidate will be responsible for building the audiences of family offices and Middle East-investors at our annual conferences. This will involve managing and creating new relationships with senior-level executives from the most important Family Offices across EMEA, as well as building and maintaining critical relationships with investors and partners in the Middle East. The candidate will also be responsible for sourcing and securing asset owners to join the speaker roster at each conference. We are looking for an entrepreneurial, dynamic team player with strong relationship skills.
The Senior Director is responsible for collaborating internally with content and marketing leaders and various business units within the Institutional Investor organization to form strong relationships, increasing revenue and profit. The successful candidate will be able to leverage strong relationships across families and institutions and to build synergies across the two channels. The candidate will also be global in outlook and able to contribute to our audiences beyond EMEA. This role will have responsibility for managing a another Investor Relations processional.
Job Responsibilities

Responsible for delivering senior executives from Family Offices to annual conferences across Europe and the Middle East, while lending support to our Family Office channel events in North America and Asia

  • Management responsibility for Sr IR Manager
  • Responsible for delivering senior executives from the biggest asset allocating institutions across the Middle East to our key annual membership events
  • Managing and creating relationships with C-suite executives from asset owners and family offices, and develop a deep knowledge and expertise of key trends across the Middle East and global family offices
  • Build annual Advisory Boards of senior executives to assist with the content of our events
  • Identify and secure speakers at our annual conferences
  • Research and expand the database of asset owners in Salesforce
  • Responsible for writing, editing, and selecting content for marketing emails
  • Produce executive packages for each event for post-conference materials

Qualifications

The ideal candidate needs to be a genuine team player who can reach objectives individually, as well as through close collaboration and coordination with other team members. A strong understanding of the Institutional Investor’s organization and a passion for client relations are key to success in the role. The candidate should have the following qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational and analytical skills
  • Entrepreneurial and commercial mindset, client-centric, outgoing, strategic, analytical, natural collaborator
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize deadlines and multi-task
  • Finance background is preferred, but not required
  • Proficiency in Salesforce
  • Ability to travel
