Responsibilities:
Core Financial Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive financial leadership, encompassing P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and investment decisions. Lead the annual strategic and financial planning processes, manage month-end closures including reporting, forecasting, and proactive financial management to identify business risks and opportunities for mitigation, ensuring predictable financial outcomes! Drive detailed & standardized financial reporting and business metrics to support sound investment decisions, profitable growth, and financial accountability. Prioritize investments effectively and enhance ROI.
Organization Leadership & Collaboration
Build, lead, mentor, and develop a diverse global team, from Analysts to Senior Finance Managers. Offer exceptional financial and strategic support to the General Manager and other members of the Business Unit leadership team, collaborating effectively with all other functions. Work closely with AAT’s global commercial sales, manufacturing operations, marketing, HR, R&D, and IT teams to drive enhancements in pricing, sales strategies, market entry, new product introductions, business solutions, and manufacturing operations. Foster an environment that both challenges and supports with mentorship and strategic insights. Embrace a continuous improvement mindset and PPI principles, welcoming external perspectives that progress the finance organization’s agenda.
Statutory Compliance
Ensure that compliance and accounting-controllership are integrated into business decisions, in line with company policies, US GAAP, and Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Provide finance leadership for the Bremen site and manage statutory reporting oversight.
