In this role, you will serve as a strategic consultative partner to Executive and C-Suite stakeholders to translate business strategy into products that deliver high-quality experiences. This position requires an ability to think strategically and scale for future growth, as well as execute tactically to meet short-term goals.
You will be responsible for building and managing scalable and sustainable architecture, organizational strategy, solution designs and serve as a technical and thought leader for SAP platform in the Finance domain including order-to-cash, Record-to-Report and Procure-to-Pay functions.
As Senior Director you will be responsible for the overall design and maintenance of our SAP platform, including data architecture, feature roadmap, and integrations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead the development efforts to deliver solutions based on a deep understanding of business requirements. You will play a critical role in defining the application strategy and shaping the future of our Finance applications.
You will lead a dynamic and geographically distributed team responsible for constantly evolving the systems and processes that support our Finance and Accounting functions. You’ll work closely with business leaders, partners, and our governance working group to prioritize, and align resource plans and schedules.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and create the Technology and Systems roadmap (immediate and long term) for Finance Tech
  • Partner with senior business leaders on their strategic roadmap, understand their operational issues and opportunities(business processes) and create technical solutions to grow business operations and ensure compliance.
  • Identify and recommend creative solutions to improve business operations, business engagement and project delivery.
  • Oversee the portfolio of projects, and lead projects to achieve desired goals and benefits in consideration of planned timelines and budgets.
  • Manage the above applications and the product vendor relationships.
  • Analyze current state needs and challenges, identify improvement and automation opportunities, portfolio planning and tool rationalization.
  • Provide leadership and establish a culture that strives towards best practice and solutions excellence. Lead and develop a team with end-to-end responsibilities: engagement, analysis, design, develop, QA, support
  • Represent Finance processes in technology assessments, solution design, and implementations.
  • Assist IT/Engineering Org in defining and communicating organizational plans for implementing and operating financial systems.
  • Work with business stakeholders to prioritize activities based on our needs, focusing on order management, billing, revenue recognition, procurement and general accounting processes.
  • Develop knowledge of related business and technology capabilities to promote value.
  • Oversee technical system availability, including managing patching and upgrades, security and DR scenario readiness.
  • Work with business partners on prioritization and proactively anticipate gaps and overlaps within the Finance portfolio.
  • Provide optimized solutions based on business needs and technology capabilities
  • Serve as a solution architect for the projects and provide best practices and strategic platform direction.
  • Manage Design & Delivery of products/solutions in SAP S4 HANA Finance (RAR, FICA, AP, GL & FA, RAR, BRIM)
  • Stay abreast of technology trends and industry best practices and influence others to seek best-in-class solutions/technology to resolve business challenges.
