Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Senior Director of Accounting to lead, support, and oversee the entire Accounting function, month- and year-end close, consolidations, coordination of the audit, organization-wide accounting systems and process improvement. The Senior Director of Accounting leads the HeadQuarter accounting staff and will serve as a key liaison for the regional finance managers. The role reports to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and will have frequent interactions with Executive Management.
We are looking for someone willing and eager to take on this challenge, as well as someone with a sharp intellect who brings a positive attitude and the desire to change and improve.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL…

  • Work directly with our CFO, Sr. Director FP&A and other key stakeholders on building out a best-in-class finance infrastructure for our Technical Accounting (financial and operational) and Tax (corporate, indirect and employment) teams
  • Supervise the develop our tax strategy, and together with the Director Tax an execution and implementation approach
  • Based on input from stakeholders and your own experience you will establish priorities, define and set targets and objectives for your teams for both long and short term strategies
  • Responsible for establishing and maturing necessary policies, processes and tooling with a focus on continuous improvement to deliver greater efficiencies and maximizing effectiveness of execution
  • You will ensure timely, accurate and compliant financial reporting for all locations and entities globally along with proactively identifying issues and challenges, together with providing recommendations on how to solve for them to our CFO and extended leadership teams
  • Partner with senior management to ensure the company meets or exceeds our financial goals and targets and contribute towards the development of the financial and company strategy and execution
  • Be a sparring partner for our CFO and other key members of the finance team
  • Drive strategic projects that impact the finance function
