Description:

The Leadership Communications and Engagement Lead (m/f/d) is a new role at Fresenius Medical Care within Global Communications. This person will be responsible for driving the leadership engagement of our executive leaders globally. Creating a sense of community and alignment across our business and functions is critical to ensuring our leaders are synced up on the strategic direction and priorities for the broader organization. In this role, you will establish the communications objectives and define the tactics to effectively engage our executive leaders, partnering with leadership stakeholders across the organization to understand their objectives and design forums, digital communities, key areas for communications support and other tactics. Reporting to the VP, Global Lead for the Center of Expertise (CoE) Internal & Employee Engagement Communications, you will also collaborate with other CoEs and Communications Business Partners to plan and execute on defined tactics, coordinating the development of content material and its timely distribution/ publishing. You will also be responsible to project lead and manage respective Leadership activities and events.

Your assignment:

  • Responsible for driving leadership engagement globally for our executive leaders by leveraging forums and communications tactics to foster a sense of community and bring alignment across the organization
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications and engagement strategy, roadmap and calendar for this target community
  • Organize top tier virtual and face-to-face events for top executive leadership in part with the support of the Campaigns & Events team and other collaborators, including agenda setting and content
  • Facilitate digital community engagement with this target audience
  • Consult and advise executive leadership on their enterprise related communications

Your profile:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; Advanced Degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate/ employee/ business communications
  • Experience and strong comfort level to interact and consult top executive leadership
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a comprehensive and/or change communications role
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, as well as excellent presentation skills
  • Problem solving skills, with specific focus on developing new, creative ways to drive communications in a changing business environment
  • Excellent English writing skills; second language German a plus
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills, with an ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple demands and competing priorities while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Innovative thinker, enjoys developing and testing new ideas and ways of addressing issues and/or driving engagement
  • Significant ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to adapt work plans flexibly.
