Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are searching for a visionary Senior Director of Product Management eager to make a significant impact in the realm of internal developer platforms, tooling, developer experience, and processes. This leader will empower our Zillow engineers and drive innovation through our team’s impactful work.
You will be at the forefront, leading the charge in developing and executing our data platforms and developer experience strategies. Your leadership will shape the creation of data products and engineering platforms tailored for internal use, including our innovative experimentation platform that fosters API sharing and data exchange. Take the reins of this role and inspire a team to drive forward innovation and transformation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and mentor a team of talented product managers, setting clear objectives, providing guidance, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for platforms, aligning with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Data Science, and AI, to prioritize and deliver high-quality products.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in technical platforms, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to identify strategic opportunities and develop partnerships that will enhance our platforms.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of platform customers and their needs, ensuring that our products are designed for optimal user experience and meet their requirements.
  • Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch, including gathering requirements, user testing, and post-launch analysis to measure effectiveness and drive improvements.
  • Drive product adoption and success through effective go-to-market strategies, and ongoing customer engagement.
    This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.
    In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington the standard base pay range for this role is $247,200.00 - $394,800.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York and Washington and may not be applicable to other locations.
    In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
