Senior Director, R&D Execution and Process Excellence, GBU Operations

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the advancement of program execution capabilities across all phases of the development lifecycle to deliver an optimized and predictable flow of value to our customers.
  • Define, implement, and maintain cutting edge program management standards, metrics, and practices for R&D efficiency, effectiveness, and measurable success.
  • Leverage PRISM, The Global Business Units program management and execution system, to drive performance to plan and accelerate time to revenue through data driven action.
  • Design and implement a scalable customer centric framework that addresses the needs of all solution types and complexities.
  • Implement models that will drive exemplary quality, responsiveness, delivery, and cost.
  • Build strong partnerships across ADI to ensure a collaborative environment that delivers optimum business outcomes.
  • Advance ADI New Product Development Processes for all development types Drive GBU end-to-end product lifecycle management capabilities, partnering with stakeholders to identify gaps and develop capability roadmap.
  • Apply business process management principles to increase efficiency and maturity of processes, ensuring capabilities to meet the business needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement in optimizing systems, processes, and best practice.
  • Generate business requirements, drive process/systems improvement and user adoption to embed best practices.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations or other relevant.
  • MBA/MS a plus. 15+ years of experience in Business, Project Management, Operations, Strategic Quality management or a field related to the knowledge and abilities.
  • Broad end-to-end knowledge of the product development lifecycle processes. Experience with Digital eco-systems.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships and collaborate effectively across the enterprise to drive change.
  • Team leadership and talent development experience Proven ability in leading cross functionally through influence.
  • A problem solver who can quickly assess situations, collect relevant input from subject matter experts and drive manageable solutions to business challenges.
  • Results orientated with strong planning and organizations skills; must be able to set and manage priorities, adapt to change, drive progress of activities and deliverables to closure.
  • Subject matter expert in Program management with demonstrated impact in managing complex, enterprise programs.
  • Solid understanding of functional systems and data management.
  • Proven ability in delivering insights from data in a synthesized and actionable way.
  • Excellent communication skills and delivering presentations for multiple audiences.
  • Creative, innovative, and driven to explore new ways to address challenges.
