With the VP for Sustainability and Social Impact help lead Loblaw’s Sustainability and Social Impact strategy and ensure we are meeting our commitments and setting new ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Sustainability and Social Impact team while driving our community investment efforts.
  • Build and execute a strong communications plan to tell our Customers, our Colleagues and Canadians about our plans and progress.
  • Act as the external and internal champion for Loblaw’s key commitments.
  • Provide insight and direction regarding sustainability, social impact trends.
  • Work with the ESG Reporting and Integration team to develop a leading ESG approach.
  • Measure and monitor progress against key strategies, plans and commitments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience developing and implementing CSR/Sustainability programs and initiatives for big organizations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong network within sustainability, environmental and other related communities required. Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lead a team and manage others
  • Consistent demonstration of sound judgment and professionalism
