SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree / MBA in Finance would be an advantage.
  • CFA or equivalent desirable.
  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience of actual portfolio management involving key major asset classes.
  • Worked with an Asset Management / Wealth Management specialized firm in a well-established jurisdiction.
  • Experience of Islamic investments would be an advantage.
  • Fluency in Arabic language would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Run portfolios following the Cheif Investment Office’s asset allocation implemented with our list of recommended instruments.
  • Assist the Head of Discretionary Portfolio Management in maintaining a state-of-the-art setup.
  • Managing external and internal legal requirements and developing the required systems.
  • Connecting with middle/back office, trading floor and operations.
  • Produce regular client reporting and interact with clients to keep them abreast with the progress on their investments.
  • Work with the Relationship Manager to pitch the Discretionary Portfolio Management capabilities to clients.
  • Actively participate in investment conversations with other specialists (asset allocation, fixed income, equity).
