SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree / MBA in Finance would be an advantage.
- CFA or equivalent desirable.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience of actual portfolio management involving key major asset classes.
- Worked with an Asset Management / Wealth Management specialized firm in a well-established jurisdiction.
- Experience of Islamic investments would be an advantage.
- Fluency in Arabic language would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Run portfolios following the Cheif Investment Office’s asset allocation implemented with our list of recommended instruments.
- Assist the Head of Discretionary Portfolio Management in maintaining a state-of-the-art setup.
- Managing external and internal legal requirements and developing the required systems.
- Connecting with middle/back office, trading floor and operations.
- Produce regular client reporting and interact with clients to keep them abreast with the progress on their investments.
- Work with the Relationship Manager to pitch the Discretionary Portfolio Management capabilities to clients.
- Actively participate in investment conversations with other specialists (asset allocation, fixed income, equity).
