Monadelphous has been operating in New South Wales since 2000 and is well-established as a local business. Our NSW regional operations provide a full range of services including comprehensive on and offsite fabrication and mechanical services.
An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Draftsperson/Designer to join our NSW Operations Team on a permanent basis.
The role will see you working Monday to Friday from the Mt Thorley office supporting the operations team.
Your well-developed interpersonal skills will assist you in building effective relationships both internally and externally. You will be flexible with a team orientated approach to work and a commitment to process development and continuous improvement. Your time management skills will promote your ability to manage multiple aspects of your work concurrently

Responsibilities:

  • Completing drafting and technical drawings
  • Converting 3D laser scan to fabrication drawings
  • Preparation and delivery of engineering drawings for allocated resources projects
  • Preparation of shop layouts
  • Attending site for measurements, verification and scoping, including use of our 3D laser scanning equipment
  • Creating concept drawings
  • Completing material take-offs and preparing cutting lists
  • Reviewing standards and best practices
