Description:
RSK Biocensus, an award winning CIEEM company who are part of the RSK Group, is recruiting a tenacious and passionate Senior Ecological Consultant to join their growing UK ecology team. This is a full time, permanent role. This will be a hybrid role, commutable to Cardiff.
As a Senior Ecological Consultant at RSK Biocensus, you can expect to get involved with the delivery of elements of field surveys, assessment, tender and report writing and project management.
SALARY AND BENEFITS

Responsibilities:
- A Senior Consultant is responsible for managing and overseeing medium/large projects and tenders from commencement to completion and close-out.
- You will undertake all work with an appropriate level of care and attention, compliant with RSK procedures and within given budgets and timescales. You will demonstrate very good communication skills with team members and peers.
- Working in compliance with our SHEQ Management System, and demonstrating safe working practices that safeguard staff and the environment.
- Overseeing more complex aspects of site work, and designing and undertaking practical elements of habitat management or creation.
- Producing survey and research reports, to include document reviews, statistical analyses, licence applications, PEAs, straightforward EcIAs, HRAs and related documents.
- Assessing the ecological impacts of developments or changes in land management, and developing mitigation and monitoring proposals.
