Our client, a leading engineering consultancy specialising in engineering design and construction services for the resources and mineral processing industry, is seeking a talented Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their expanding team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project design and execution
- Provide specialized engineering expertise
- Ensuring control processes and documentation standards are followed
- Interact with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes for complex designs
- Mentor junior staff and provide leadership within the Engineering team
- Provide high quality engineering designs to the resources and mineral processing industry.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical)
- 10+ years of experience in a similar role
- Demonstrate proficiency in digital engineering tools and a comprehensive understanding of 3D CAD modeling
- Proven track record in providing technical input to projects and collaborating with major mining clients to Australian standards
- Possess full and unrestricted Australian working rights
- Engineers Australia CPEng certification preferred
Desirable Skills:
Ideally our client would be looking for someone with experience in mineral process plants and bulk materials handling. Familiarity with mobile machines and knowledge of functional safety principles would be highly regarded.
