REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:

Degree / Diploma in Building Services engineering or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years post-qualification design experience.
Excellent knowledge of relevant standards and regulations.
Experience with design software: AutoCAD, BIM, and Revit.
Comfortable in estimating cost control on projects.

Opportunity in Kilkenny City for a Senior Engineer to work on a range of projects within an ever growing and successful multi-disciplinary business. The successful person will lead and manage a team of junior and intermediate engineers.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparation of design and contract documentation and specifications.
Design of systems not limited to electrical distribution, containment, internal / external lighting, fire alarms and CCTV / intruder.
Co-ordination of work with all members of design teams (architect, engineers of all disciplines, Q.S. etc.)
Ensuring that all designs and documents are prepared to the highest standards. Compiling project reports.
Conceptual design studies and reports.
