Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Management (resources and fees).
  • Preparation of design & contract documentation and specifications.
  • Designing and reviewing design work of intermediate and junior engineers.
  • Design of systems including but not limited to electrical distribution, small power, lighting & emergency lighting, fire detection & alarm, ICT, security and vertical transportation.
  • Co-ordination of work with all members of design teams (architect, engineers of all disciplines, QS, etc.).
  • Ensuring that all designs and documents are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Estimating, Procurement and Cost Control on projects.
  • Compiling project reports.
  • Conceptual design studies and reports.
  • Mentoring and development of intermediate and junior engineers in the group.
  • Liaising with the supply chain and contractors to co-ordinate the successful delivery of the MEP installations
