Our Australian team is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Brisbane office.
About the role
- Contribute to the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering designs and feasibility studies.
- Prepare technical reports related to specific design issues.
- Deliver best practice technical solutions in accordance with project scope, timeframes, and standards.
- Prepare equipment procurement packages, designs, calculations and cost estimates for conventional engineering, research, and development assignments.
- Familiar with standard discipline deliverables and work process on projects.
- Demonstrate initiative and basic leadership skills to give direction within a small work group.
- Develop networks and relationships within teams, across the organisation and with clients.
- Assist with the preparation of proposals and tenders (such as estimating design hours).
About you
- Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Previous experience working in engineering consulting, EPC/EPCM in the mining and resources sectors.
- Design experience using ETAP, SKM Power Tools or Hexagon Smartplant.
- Sound understanding of current codes and standards including Australian and IEC/IEEE
- RPEQ or willing to work towards accreditation.
- Willingness to travel is highly desirable.
