Description:

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in the Australian mining industry, with a strong background in electrical design and estimation.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise and mentor a team of professionals.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, standards, and best practices, particularly within the context of switchboard and control panel manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and electrical design tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead the estimation team in preparing accurate and competitive bids for switchboard and control panel projects within the mining industry.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior estimators, assisting in their professional development and growth.
  • Collaborate closely with the design team to develop innovative and efficient electrical solutions tailored to the specific needs of mining clients.
  • Review and approve technical designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Provide technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle, from conception to completion, to ensure successful execution.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to establish clear communication channels and address any concerns or inquiries promptly
