Description:

REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in the Australian mining industry, with a strong background in electrical design and estimation.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise and mentor a team of professionals.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles, standards, and best practices, particularly within the context of switchboard and control panel manufacturing.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and electrical design tools.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the estimation team in preparing accurate and competitive bids for switchboard and control panel projects within the mining industry.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior estimators, assisting in their professional development and growth.
- Collaborate closely with the design team to develop innovative and efficient electrical solutions tailored to the specific needs of mining clients.
- Review and approve technical designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Provide technical expertise and support throughout the project lifecycle, from conception to completion, to ensure successful execution.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess project progress, identify potential issues, and implement effective solutions.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to establish clear communication channels and address any concerns or inquiries promptly
