Position Description
You will be responsible for the engineering, implementation, and validation of electric components and smart electronic products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and validate electrical components and systems for Modine products with minimal guidance.
  • Design printed circuit boards (PCB), including component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, and design for manufacturability and testability.
  • Develop embedded firmware for electrical control and communication while conforming to automotive standards for code quality, testing, and functional safety.
  • Maintain internal design and engineering specifications for electromechanical components.
  • Guide design meetings and communicate with supervisor, section manager, program manager, other product engineers, and manufacturing engineers regarding product design and other issues.
  • Help guide in all phases of a project, from concept to production
  • Complete projects within allocated budget to meet Modine’s high quality and performance requirements.
  • Create test plans and perform validation on components and systems to verify functionality, performance, reliability, and conformance to automotive industry standards.
  • Diagnose and repair failures following the 8D process.

Required Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ year of experience in a related technical field is required.
  • Strong knowledge of C programming is required.
  • Must be results-oriented with excellent analytical, planning, organization, and execution skills.
  • Can demonstrate high level of proficiency in circuit board design, systems analysis, and embedded programming.
  • Can demonstrate high level of programming proficiency.
