JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is currently seeking a self-starting and skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Engineering team in Brisbane. In this role, you will play a key part in brownfield projects including upgrades to wells, refineries and plants.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, along with CPEng and RPEQ
• Experience in an engineering services company
• Electrical Engineering experience in power and distribution and/or oil and gas
• Hazardous areas experience would be a strong nice to have
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Develop electrical designs for projects won and for proposals
• Prepare electrical documentation including drawings and reports, diagrams, load and equipment lists
• Provide electrical input into detailed scopes of work
• Analyse vendor and subcontractor designs and advise on suitability and compliance
• Consult with vendor teams and internal teams regarding project schedules
• Provide technical advice regarding electrical equipment and procurement
• Provide support during construction / implementation phase
