We are seeking experienced Senior Electrical Engineers to join an exciting crop of businesses across a range of boutique to global businesses in Melbourne. These are exciting opportunities for professionals with over five years of experience in the primary design of substations, solar, wind, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in primary design of substations, solar, wind, and BESS.
• HV primary design experience
• Proficiency in CAD software and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Current license or certification as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, review, update, and modify electrical design plans and work schedules.
• Liaise with clients, vendors, and other engineers to ensure projects are completed to specifications.
• Conduct research, design testing methods, and complete quality assurance.
• Analyze existing electrical systems for cost-effective improvements.
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
