ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Designer to join our Tomago Team on a part time basis - working 2 to 3 days a week on site.

Since 2003, Worley’s Alliance team have been successfully providing Engineering services to Tomago Aluminium, one of Australasia’s largest aluminium smelters. Our projects can include minor projects through to large transformational projects, offering you a variety of work on a large & diverse asset. We’re looking for a capable and motivated Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Designer to join our high performing team.

Responsibilities:

The role responsibilities include:

  • Delivery of electrical specific design and drafting services that meet applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare & create engineering drawings and documentation in accordance with associated checking procedures.
  • Red-line engineering drawings and package up work packs for workshare implementation.
  • Provide support to the electrical engineers and project team.
  • Identify issues and problems, develop appropriate solutions and ask for assistance when required.
