REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years of experience in lifecycle/email marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation and A/B testing, preferably in B2B business
  • 2 years experience building and optimizing email and engagement programs in Marketo
  • Good understanding of acquisition, engagement and retention campaigns
  • Exceptional attention to detail, and ability to prioritize while under pressure
  • Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • Team player with organization and people experience, including setting priorities and problem-solving
  • The ability to clearly explain and demonstrate the value of marketing technologies

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Marketo Expert certification

Responsibilities:

We’re revving our marketing engine and are looking for a highly motivated individual to help develop and drive our email marketing efforts. The chosen candidate will have a proven track record in creating email marketing strategies, driving email automation, running end-to-end campaigns and managing databases within a B2B environment. Hardworking and innovative, you enjoy developing, testing and optimizing data-driven messaging strategies to maximize impact. You’re well-versed in all the major email platforms and strive to stay ahead of current market trends, industry tools and best practices.

Primary Objectives

  • Work with leadership, demand and field marketers to determine the business strategies and build email marketing strategies to align with it.
  • Create personas, segmentation lists and build target audience based on business needs to strategically contact consumers
  • Create email marketing strategies which will help Liferay gain net new customers, as well as perform upsell and cross sell campaigns for existing customers

Campaign Creation

  • Ensuring campaigns are aligned with the company’s overall strategy, branding, and marketing and business objectives
  • Ensuring campaigns are accessible and functional on both desktop and mobile devices

Campaign Management

  • Monitor email performance and make required adjustments to maximize performance
  • Devise, measure A/B and multivariate testing

Data Management

  • Provide analysis, observations, and recommendations on the performance of all email programs. Identify opportunities for optimizations and testing
  • Baseline campaign performance against other business units and industry norms
  • Determine the optimal manner of managing bespoke requests, in conjunction with our advanced analytics team
