- Conduct in-depth feasibility studies and provide technical guidance for product development.
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams, specially Embedded Software, Embedded Hardware and Mechanical Development, ensuring seamless integration of embedded systems and reliable device operation
- Collaboration with Product Management, Research and Development, Testing and Certification, Production and Quality Management departments
- Assisting with embedded hardware product requirements creation
- Reviewing product requirements and device technical requirements
- Writing technical system requirements for embedded hardware
- Review of embedded hardware design and testing documentation
- Schematic and Printed Circuit Board reviews focused on system integration
- Technical management of semiconductor components, connectors and wiring harness - Request For Information (RFI) process for all product portfolios
- Writing embedded hardware development documentation
- Supporting embedded hardware teams with equipment selection
- Defining and documenting embedded hardware procedures and best practices
- Wiring harness and connector architecture definition for all product portfolios
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to embedded hardware teams
QualificationsQualificationsQualifications
- Degree in electrical engineering or similar
- Minimum seven years of experience in development of embedded systems
- Experience with embedded hardware related standards and certification for European Union and United States of America
- Experience with project management
- Extensive collaboration experience with PCB and EMS manufacturers
- Development and production of multilayer PCB’s
- Experience with electronics design (DFM, DFT, DFA)
- Developing and analyzing Radio-Frequency (RF) circuits and antennas
- Detailed experience with electronic device certification
- Creative and critical thinking
- Excellent communication skills with people from various background
- Team Lead experience
- You speak fluent English, German or Croatian is a plus
