OUR CLIENT IS A GLOBAL MNC, ONE OF THE LEADING PLAYERS IN THE PHARMACEUTICALS SECTOR. DUE TO BUSINESS NEEDS, THEY ARE NOW RECRUITING A SENIOR ENERGY ENGINEER TO BE PART OF THEIR TEAM FOR ONGOING TRANSFORMATION PROJECTS. THEY ARE LOCATED IN THE WEST – EASILY ACCESSIBLE.

Responsibilities:

• Spearhead programs aimed at enhancing utility operations, overseeing the implementation of energy efficiency initiatives across the plant, including the preparation and submission of relevant documentation
• Identify energy cost savings, and propose strategies to optimize energy usage
• Conduct thorough energy audits to assess consumption patterns and potential conservation measures
• Utilize energy modeling techniques, measurement tools, and commissioning processes to enhance operational efficiency
• Gather on-site data through observations/inspections to support energy conservation modelling and analysis
• Evaluate construction designs and specifications to ensure compliance with energy efficiency standards
• Generate comprehensive project reports and technical documentation when necessary
• Research and evaluate renewable energy systems for feasibility and potential implementation on site
• Facilitate regular site energy team meetings to coordinate efforts and track progress
• Monitor energy usage and costs, ensuring alignment with budgetary targets
• Act as a subject matter expert in energy metering management
• Liaise with site leadership and personnel regarding energy program objectives and achievements
• Prioritize and oversee the implementation of energy-related initiatives

• Promote awareness of conservation practices and usage habits among site personnelAll other adhoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma in any relevant field of Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
• Possesses Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) certification
