The Industrial Connectivity and Control BU are seeking a motivated Senior Analog Design Engineer to join our team developing Industry leading silicon solutions to drive growth in our global Business. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team in Limerick with excellent mentorship and opportunities to work on leading edge development in Industrial automation. Our diverse portfolio of products encompassing Industrial Ethernet, Software configurable I/O & I/O link facilitates a wide variation of skill development and technology node experience. The successful candidate will work as an Analog Designer on large silicon developments in multidisciplinary teams including Digital Design, Verification, Layout, Test, Bench Evaluation and Applications.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • IC block design, transistor-level circuit design and simulation
  • Ensuring that circuits meet all functional, parametric requirements
  • Conducting technical presentations to ADI’s internal engineering team
  • Successful integration of blocks into larger mixed-signal systems
  • Supporting colleagues in layout, Bench Evaluation and Test Development

Minimum qualifications

  • Experience of IC development is preferred.
  • Strong fundamentals in analog and mixed-signal design, tools and flows.
  • Design experience with circuits such as amplifiers, DACs, ADCs, bandgaps, bias circuits, LDOs
  • Candidates should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to lead investigations into new solutions
  • Strong inter-personal, teamwork and communication skills are required
  • Motivated, results oriented
  • Innovative mindset with willingness to explore and develop
