Position: SENIOR ENGINEER
Job Location – Calgary, Alberta
SUMMARY:
We are currently in search of an intermediate to senior-level Structural Engineer to join our esteemed team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering top-tier structural engineering services, encompassing various responsibilities such as producing structural designs, project management, quality control, and collaboration with key stakeholders.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in structural engineering.
- Extensive experience in designing wood structures.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Revit and other structural engineering software packages.
- Membership in APEGA (Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta).
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive structural engineering services, including but not limited to producing structural designs, overseeing project management, ensuring quality control, conducting shop drawing reviews, and performing field investigations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and other professional consultants to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
