Your Tasks
- Drive the establishment of model-driven processes (Model-Based System Engineering and Model Based Design) within the Engineering Organisation.
- Oversee modelling activities for the entire system engineering lifecycle for the New Projects department.
- Lead interaction between system and software architects to ensure consistency across systems, effective documentation and design for modularity and re-use.
- Design and test airborne control and monitoring laws of aircraft systems.
- Write and review system requirement documents and engineering reports.
With this you convince us
- University Degree (Bachelor, Master or PhD) in a technical discipline. Aviation background preferred, but not strictly required.
- Strong experience in the system & software engineering lifecycle of aircraft systems with proficiency in ARP 4754, DO-178 & DO-331 processes, and a focus on requirement management.
- Experience in plant modelling, simulation, and development of control laws applying the principles of Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) and/or Model Based Design (MBD).
- Experience in graphical programming environments (e.g. Simulink, Labview, SCADE), knowledge of Version Control and DevOps (CI/CD) development practices, and tools (e.g. GIT, JIRA, Jenkins) are a strong plus.
- Big picture/system thinking with capacity to dive into details, combined with excellent communication skills and ability to effectively engage with various stakeholders, both internal and external to the organization.
