The Cloud Engineer is responsible for building and leading the solution framework for cloud computing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud computing and technology systems, as well as experience designing and transferring applications to the cloud.
As a Cloud Engineer, the individual will manage the customer’s future transition from on premise environments into hybrid-cloud architectures. The role requires the ability to provide new services effectively and optimize existing environments. In addition, the Architect will play a strategic role in proposing new cloud solutions for existing and future clients

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a Solutions Architect/Sr. Cloud Platform Engineer with a robust background in cloud-based technologies and infrastructure automation. The successful candidate will be instrumental in application assessment, migration processes, and the design and development of CI/CD pipelines along with Implementation of predefined Landing zone and patterns. This role requires a strategic understanding of a multi-cloud environment, including expertise in Terraform for infrastructure as code (IAC) applications, as well as experience with major cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, and Azure.
The ideal candidate will bring a forward-thinking approach to the table, capable of not only adapting to rapid technological changes but also driving innovation in a complex and evolving landscape.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

• A degree in Computer Science or 10 years of equivalent practical experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Solutions Architect.
• A minimum of two years working in Solution Architecture with a significant cloud component – on-premises or Public Cloud.
• Experience in all aspects of cloud computing (e.g., infrastructure, storage, platforms, and data), along with knowledge of the cloud market and competitive dynamics.
• Knowledge of current infrastructure automation & continuous integration/deployment using Terraform.
• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with deployment and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenStack, Ansible.
• Strong understanding of and experience with open source server software.
• In-depth knowledge of networking, and cloud-based delivery models.
• Certifications in Cloud Architecture (Terraform, Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, K8S) are highly regarded.
• Familiarity with standard IT security practices such as encryption, certificates, and key management.
• Good to have:
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with Secret Manager solutions like HashiCorp vault/Google Secret Manager.
• Exposure to cloud native monitoring solutions like AWS CloudWatch, GCP Cloud Monitoring, or similar
• Experience with project delivery alongside leading junior and intermediate developers team
