TO QUALIFY FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY YOU POSSESS:

  • 5+ years of experience in IAM and M365 for Enterprise engineering, preferably in a large enterprise environment.
  • Proficiency in Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Entra Connect, Azure RBAC, M365 (including Exchange and SharePoint online) for enterprise.
  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server OS’s including DNS, DHCP, IIS
  • Post-secondary education in information systems or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience (e.g., certifications such as MCSE/MCSA, Microsoft Azure Administrator, CISSP).
  • Enterprise Implementation and Change Management experience.
  • Systems and Applications monitoring and alerting experience with tools like DataDog, and Splunk.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and/or Python.
  • Demonstrated commitment to a security mindset, with experience implementing security controls, assessing security risks, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Extensive experience in assessing security risks, conducting vulnerability assessments, and developing remediation strategies to address identified vulnerabilities.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively over multiple zones of time with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions to mitigate risks and enhance security posture.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry-standard security frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIST, CIS Controls, GDPR, HIPAA) and a track record of ensuring compliance with relevant requirements.

Responsibilities:

HOW DOES THE ROLE IMPACT THE ORGANIZATION?

The Senior Systems Engineer – Digital Workplace Platform Services at Raymond James ensures the stability and efficiency of essential technology systems. This role focuses on Identity and Access Management, hybrid Active Directory, and digital workplace technologies. Utilizing strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, the Senior Systems Engineer will enhance IT planning, service delivery, and governance to support seamless business operations.

WHAT WILL YOUR ROLE BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Azure Active Directory, ADFS, Azure RBAC, M365 for Enterprise.
  • Support a highly complex, enterprise-level Active Directory and Single Sign-On services in a hybrid on-premises and cloud-hosted environment.
  • Implement and ensure compliance with security measures for IAM and Digital Workplace technologies. Develop IAM and M365 security policies, procedures, and controls to protect corporate assets and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal Security teams to remediate critical security findings related to identity and M365 for Enterprise.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for technology, automation, and security enhancements for IAM and M365 for Enterprise functions.
  • Monitoring and Performance Management: Implement robust monitoring and performance management practices to proactively identify and address issues, adapt security measures and strategies, optimize system performance, and minimize downtime.
  • Participate in security reviews and audits to assess the effectiveness of security controls and recommend improvements.
  • Provide critical tier 3 support when needed and/or participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Undertake other digital workplace accountabilities as assigned.
