Senior Engineer (Electrical)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, or related engineering disciplines
• 6 years of working experience in planning, designing and construction of Electrical system in the oil and gas industry
• Experience in electrical power generation and distribution systems for topsides and marine vessels for new building and conversionExcellent proficiency in English (written and spoken)

  Our Addresses and Working Hours:

• Prepares key project documentation in executing the complete Electrical engineering scope of work as per the project requirements in meeting customer’s expectations
• Carries out electrical drawings and design work and procurement engineering activities (i.e. technical specifications, equipment datasheets, MTO, technical bid evaluation, etc.)
• Prepares design documents and data related electrical system design
• Plans, checks, and directs the work of engineers, assistant engineers and drafting specialists as well as monitoring the progress
• Reviews and consolidate MTO, weight information, and equipment list provided by engineering subcontractor
• Participates in project meeting/technical meeting/3D model review/workshop, attends to basic technical queries and issues related to Electrical design and review the deliverables (i.e. drawings, VCD, third party study report, workshop report, etc.)
• Oversees manpower planning and allocation within the in-charged workgroup base on the team member’s competency and work scope required
• Monitors and controls the material cost and manhours to be within limit for the in-charged scope of work, and advocate cost & manhours budget awareness among reporting team members
• Conducts internal audit regularly after qualified to ensure engineering design workflow is implemented with compliance and qualityPerforms any other duties as assigned by superior(s) from time to time
