SENIOR ENGINEER, ELECTRICAL - SOUTH AFRICA

will conduct design review of power plants (majority renewable technologies, dominantly PV and CSP) and manage the communication with stake holders, including development of necessary strategies for preventive/predictive maintenance, special tools for new build plants in accordance to Owner Technical specifications, prudent international utility standards, quality standards to ensure plant availability, maintainability, and equipment reliability as per associated contracts. Main deliverable to this role will be to enable by design building a high reliable, available, and maintainable utility plant.

SKILLS

• Extensive experience on LV, MV and HV, and electrical protection.
• Knowledge of downtime analysis and practical knowledge of problem-solving tools.
• Knowledge of maintenance management methods, of predictive inspection tools and of CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System, good knowledge of SAP Template desirable).
• Project Management.
• Detailed understanding of preventative/predictive maintenance theory.
• Knowledge of the operations of power generation plants. (PV&CSP, BESS technologies)
• Strong planning, organizing, and integration skills.
• Teamwork and effective collaboration skills.
