We are now looking for a Senior Engineer - Embedded Software to join our team in the Tampere office!

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

The post requires B.Sc. or M.Sc. or equivalent degree, at least 4 years of relevant work experience and good understanding/experience of the project business. It is mandatory to have expertise from protocol specification to implementation level.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Highly proficient Senior Engineer in Embedded Software with a strong background in automotive/IoT/telecommunication domains. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying embedded software solutions.
You will provide technical expertise needed in customer project sales process and consultation services for Customers.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As Senior Engineer in Embedded Software you must have profound knowledge and experience on design and implement software for embedded devices and systems, from requirements to production and commercial deployment. You perform system-level and unit tests to ensure functionality, reliability, and performance of the software and diagnose issues and bugs, providing effective and timely solutions. You actively share your knowledge, provide support and may give technical training for the project team. You are supporting Sales, Customer and Project Manager to ensure that the necessary requirements and restrictions are understood and covered when preparing the technical section of the quotation. You are helping the Project Manager in creating the project plan by providing expertise in specific technical area(s) for e.g., effort estimation, project risks, technology selections and quality requirements.
